Somatic Sensing Method *
Somatic Sensing Method is an embodied healing approach inspired by training with the Somatic Therapy Center. It supports tuning into the sensations, signals, and stories held in the body so the nervous system can regulate, long-held patterns can release, and a grounded sense of safety can return.
Through guided awareness, verbal dialogue, and supportive touch, attention turns toward sensation- the language of the body. This work invites a slowing down and creates space to listen to what the body has been holding. Rather than analyzing or forcing change, the focus is on developing awareness of sensation and nervous system states.
Because the nervous system learns through repetition and safety built over time, this work is most impactful when experienced as a series. A commitment of at least six sessions is recommended to allow trust to develop, new patterns of regulation to take hold, and meaningful integration to occur. Many people notice increased grounding, presence, and a deeper sense of being at home in themselves through consistent sessions.
This work may be supportive if you:
Feel stuck in the mind and long to reconnect with the body
Have tried talk therapy without accessing deeper layers of healing
Are healing from stress, past relationships, trauma, or chronic tension
Desire more calm, presence, and authenticity in everyday life
The Somatic Sensing Method offers a simple yet powerful way to listen to the body, soften old defenses, and move toward greater freedom, resilience, and self-connection.
Sessions are one hour long, take place on a massage table while remaining fully clothed, and are $150 per session.
